MCSD will be closed January 15th for Martin Luther King Jr Day. MLK Day not only honors the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but it encourages all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. It is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service.

Please welcome Kate Baumeister to Sam Boardman for the 2023-24 school year! Kate is teaching Kindergarten. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Oregon. Originally from Hermiston, OR, Kate loves making crafts. Her drink of choice is coffee. With previous preschool teaching experience in Japan, Kate is excited to continue her teaching journey at Sam Boardman. She's eager to create classroom traditions and make learning engaging and enjoyable. Kate has a soft spot for cute, tiny things, and her unique interests will surely enrich her classroom environment.
¡Dé la bienvenida a Kate Baumeister a Sam Boardman para el año escolar 2023-24! Kate está enseñando jardín de infantes. Tiene una Licenciatura en Antropología de la Universidad de Oregon. Originaria de Hermiston, Oregón, a Kate le encanta hacer manualidades. Su bebida preferida es el café. Con experiencia previa en enseñanza preescolar en Japón, Kate está entusiasmada de continuar su trayectoria docente en Sam Boardman.
