MCSD will be closed on November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans - living or dead, but especially recognizes living veterans who served honorably during war or peacetime.
MCSD estará cerrado el 11 de noviembre en observancia del Día de los Veteranos. El Día de los Veteranos rinde homenaje a todos los veteranos estadounidenses, vivos o muertos, pero reconoce especialmente a los veteranos vivos que sirvieron honorablemente durante la guerra o en tiempos de paz.

With school back in session our buildings have started their annual safety drills. These are a state requirement and help prepare our school communities for a variety of safety / emergency scenarios. The attached flyer outlines the names of the drills and the scenarios they are used for. As always, if you have questions please visit with your building principal.

The watermelons have arrived! Over the next few weeks students will get to enjoy local Walchli watermelons as part of their school lunch. As a reminder school meals are free to all students every day! (Seconds do have a cost). This opportunity is funded through the Farm to School food grant.
