On February 5th Eastern Oregon University will be offering the College Level Examination Program test to earn up to 24 college credits in Spanish. If you speak, read, and write Spanish, and are planning on going to college, then this would be a good opportunity for you. We will take the small bus if enough students are interested. Martin Luther King Day:
MCSD will be closed January 20th for Martin Luther King Jr Day. MLK Day not only honors the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but it encourages all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. It is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service.

Seniors - The Bank of Eastern Oregon scholarship application is now available. This scholarship is for seniors who plan on studying Agriculture or Business. Deadline is April 1. All paper scholarship applications are now displayed on the wall rack across from my office. Community Service and Letter of Recommendation forms for ICE are also available.
